Coach Edgar Leon
Professor Edgar Leon
Professor Edgar Leon is the head instructor and owner of Gracie Barra Valencia. He began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey at the age of 41, proving that it’s never too late to start. Since then, he has become a seasoned competitor with over 54 competitions to his name—and continues to compete actively. Professor Edgar is a Pans gold medalist, has earned multiple double gold titles at IBJJF tournaments, and holds an Abu Dhabi L.A. Open gold medal. He was promoted to black belt by Professor Otavio Sousa. Leading with discipline, passion, and professionalism, Professor Edgar is dedicated to helping students of all levels grow on and off the mats while fostering a welcoming, high-level training environment for the Valencia community
-I have 54 competitions of experience and present continue to compete.
-Pans Gold also with many Double Gold in IBJJF competitions as well as Abu Dhabi Open Gold.
-Received my black belt from Prof. Otavio Sousa
